We work with the belief that it is imperative that we support every citizen of the world to be creative, open and curious; to amplify our lived experiences and empower people to have conversations, make change and share knowledge.

Everything we do is a collaboration with room for play and discussion -

everyone is involved in all strands, and they all influence one another.

Everyone is equal and respected within the creative process and participants are empowered through the celebration of their uniqueness and inclusion of their ideas and opinions.

This is achieved through a teaching and creative practise which weaves together physical and creative learning, site-specific performance and an exploration of issues that effect and matter to people and culture today. This approach allows us to help diversify both what it means to be a cultural venue and invites audiences who don’t always feel welcome in traditional theatre settings.

Grief Gatherings
A place for community connection and exploring creativity as a way to express and move through grief

You’re warmly invited to The Grief Gathering — a free, gentle afternoon for anyone who has experienced grief and would like to connect with others and explore creativity as a way to express and move through it.

This event offers a calm, supportive space shared with people who understand what it means to grieve. There’s no expectation to talk about your loss or share personal details — simply come as you are.

What to expect:

  • Breathing exercises to help you arrive and settle

  • A variety of simple, creative activities to explore at your own pace — writing, drawing, painting, moving, reading, and more (no experience needed!)

  • Time to enjoy light refreshments and connect with others — or take quiet time for yourself if that feels right

The Grief Gatherings create gentle spaces that refill your cup when it feels empty — blending collective support with simple, creative, and sensory practices. Come as you are. There’s no right or wrong way to grieve — only a shared space to gently be.

**This event is free, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.

***This gathering is open to anyone aged 13 and over (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
