TYDC Audition Information 2025

Thrive Youth Dance Company is looking for new dancers!

Join the company from Sept 2025 – July 2026

 

Thrive Youth Dance Company provides classes in North London where young people ages 12 - 19 can study contemporary dance and choreography in a creative and supportive environment. The company educates and supports future generations of young dancers by enabling creative thinking and inspiring self-confidence.

As part of the company students will: 

  • Practice contemporary dance technique 

  • Learn choreography and performance skills 

  • Discover more about dance as a career 

  • Improve fitness, flexibility and strength 

  • Gain confidence and creativity 

  • Participate in performance opportunities across London

  • Learn more about dancer’s health and physical wellbeing 

  • See professional performances 

 

Details and Things to Know:  

  • Auditions take place 5-7pm at Fourth Monkey Studios N7 7QP on 7th or 14th July. It will be a friendly environment, no need to prepare anything or be nervous!

  • Sign up for a place at the audition by contacting Sarah: sarah@thrivedance.co.uk or 07907 536 650

  • Students will be placed in the appropriate class if they are successful in their audition - the day will be confirmed prior to the year beginning in September

  • Classes take place at Fourth Monkey Studios 97-101 Seven Sisters Road London N7 7QP

  • The Company is expected to commit to 2 hours per week for one year during term time.  Students work towards various performing opportunities throughout the year and it is important they can commit to be with the company for the whole year. 

  • Students are to come to class in comfortable clothes they can move in with bare feet and hair tied up out of their face
